Mino-washi is made in Mino city in Gifu prefecture and one of the major washi in Japan.

Mino washi has three types. These types are determined by way of making.

Among them, handmade technology of Mino washi was recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage in 2014.

The feature of Mino washi is soft and delicate because it is made thinly. Also, Mino wash has strong durability. From this feature, Mino washi is suitable for paper sliding door, Fusuma, folding screen, and hanging scroll. However, Mino washi is suitable not only for these traditional things, but also for daily necessities such like lighting equipment, and accessories.

Mino washi is used for certificate of recognition of TOKYO Olympics in 2021.
