Creating a Washi website
Continueing from the previous exhibition in the U.S., we created a washi website focused on the three Tokai prefectures under the theme of "Washi in Everyday Life," with the aim of reconfirming the appeal of washi as a traditional Japanese culture and promoting the use of washi in everyday life.

Research about washi in the three Tokai prefectures and pick up information.
⇒Send e-mails to companies to ask for permission to post information, images, etc.

Outline of activities

Introduction of washi (Obara, Mino, and Ise washi)
→Description of raw materials, textures, applications, etc.

→Descriptions of products made from each type of washi are listed. Both everyday items and traditional ones.

Management of ALEQ Washi's Instagram
After the completion of website, we used SNS to send out information.
We created an Instagram account dedicated to Washi, and posted in Japanese and English.
Each member posted the contents in Japanese and English according to the posting span (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
