Hello! I'm Miho. Today, I would like to share with you "This is NAGAKUTE ~Tomashu ver.~"! (Akane! Check this out!!)
Tomashu is a French restaurant with a homelike atmosphere in Nagakute city. It is located right next to Nagakute Kosenjo park. The appearance of the restaurant, the white wall and the red door, is really cute! You can walk to the restaurant in 3 minutes from Nagakute Kosenjo station, so it's a perfect place to have a meal! The inside of the restaurant is not too large, and people can enjoy their meals calmly.
We had a full course meal, "chamomile" costed 3,000 yen (without tax). (Of course, we were extremely careful of COVID-19, wearing masks whenever we weren't eating, and having enough space between each member.)
Below shows the menu.
Starter: roast beef and green salad
Soup: Kujo green onion soup
Western food: deep-fried onion/ cod sprout/ sea bass, red cabbage sauce
Chinese cuisine:
Japanese cuisine: Japanese omelet, rice, clear soup, shrimp/ cucumber/ onion salad, sliced raw sea bream (butterbur sprout tempura), boiled firefly squid
Dessert: marron cream and green tea ice cream parfait
Drink: Coffee or tea
The chef explained each dish one by one. Purple petals on the soup were a nourishing plant called Zhuge Liang Sai (Orychophragmus violaceus, Dame's Rocket). It is said that Zhuge Liang who is a famous Chinese politician in the Three Kingdoms period popularized the plants. By the way, these vegetables and herbs such as rosemary are grown by the owner of the restaurant!

I sometimes cannot be satisfied with the volume of dishes because I'm a heavy eater, but the course was enough for me. You can ask for free helpings of rice and refills of water, so people who want to eat a lot can be satisfied.
I cannot eat seafood, especially shellfish and raw fish, but the chef asked us about our likes and dislikes of food before the course and served me a butterbur sprout tempura instead of sliced raw sea bream and a boiled firefly squid. I really appreciate their kindness...!

We enjoyed about 90 minutes of the meal from 12:30, the time we had reserved in advance, with chatting. All of the waiters and waitresses were agreeable, and we were fully satisfied with the hospitality!
I'd like to finish my report, "This is NAGAKUTE ~Tomashu ver.~". Thank you for reading the post through to the end! Material Project Exhibition ver. will be revealed in the next post, and I hope you'll be looking forward to it!
